Anurag Kashyap today is one of the most celebrated movie makers of Bollywood town. There was a time when he was a stranger in entertainment industry and now he is to distribute his Tamil movie titled Pardesi in North India under the banner of Phantom Films. This movie would include English and Hindi subtitles.
Anurag while talking about director of this movie Bala said that he is a talented moviemaker. It was during a conversation when Bala told Anurag that no one is interested in releAsing regional movies in North India and thus Anurag decided to release this movie as he want people to watch quality movies from different regions of the state.
This movie is the story of state of tea workers of India before partition. It features Adahrva, Dhansika and Vedhika Kumar in lead roles.
