Mahesh Bhatt has always taken stand against unfair attitude of Indian government establishments and security agencies for Muslim community and this is taken in to account specially in case of youth.
Mahesh Bhatt is all set to stage a play with Sandeep Kapoor and this play will be directed by national award winning play writer Waryam Mast. This play is titled Trial of Error. The theme of this play is the distrust that the establishment has on Muslims and thus they suspect them falsely for terrorism and anti-national activities that occur in the country. The play stages their traumas and struggle they go through for getting justice.
This play would feature Imran Zahid in the role of a journalist who works out to find out truth behind different conspiracies of establishment to put the Muslim community in a bad image.
Earlier as well, Mahesh Bhatt staged a play titled Last Salute which was based on the event when a media person hurled a shoe on former President of United States President George Bush during a press conference.
