Jackie Shroff these days is busy shooting in Kolkata for his fourth Bengali movies. This movie is based on the issue of land acquisition. This movie titled Swabhumi is to be directed by Ujjvwal Chatterjee and is based on the novel Adhoba by Maheshweta Devi.
Jackie will be playing role of IPS office in this movie and will be talking about the land movement issue that was raised in 2007 in Bengal. Jackie agreed to do this movie as it is based on a true story.
There is buzz that Dimpy Mahajan who is part of dance reality show Nach Baliye will also be part of this project. Talking about this project, she says that she is quite pleased to be part of this movie that is featured on an important issue that happened in the history of Bengal city.
