Veteran Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachchan has received many honors throughout his career and one more to add on this list is the honor of becoming 'India's Prime Icon of 2012'. This honor was crowned for Big B by a TV show and others in the competition with Big B were Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, A.R. Rahman, Ranbir Kapoor, Rahul Gandhi and some others.
He was felicitated with this crown by Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma. He was quite pleased as he tweeted ‘Honored to have received the 'India's Prime Icon of 2012', humbled…had contenders like Lataji, Sachin Tendulkar, SRK, Salman, Amir, Chief Minister Gujarat Narendra Modi and others.’
