Last time we heard of Bollywood veteran actor Dilip Kumar in news was along with his wife Saira Bano, his visit to the Hazra. Now he is again in news but the reason here is entirely different. Both his brothers Aslam Khan and Ehsaan Khan have sent him a legal notice where they have accused him of not keeping his word.
They claim that Dilipji has built Pali Hill bungalow after destroying a building shared by them for around 60 years and he promised of giving them accommodation here.
They also claim that as promised he is not paying monthly maintenance that was agreed after they were forced to move from this place in 2006. The notice claims that Ehsaan Khan was promised to be given a 1,200 sq ft apartment and Aslam Khan was promised to be given an 800 sq ft apartment. Also Dilipji has promised a monthly maintenance for them of Rs. 60,000 in their joint account.
Both the brothers are in bad financial condition and are living at a friend’s place on Hill Road. They need to empty that two bedroom house within a week and thus they have no money and no place to go. Both the brothers have asked for their share and they claim for justice. They say that this property was not built by Dilipji’s earnings alone so they must be given their due share.
When Sairaji was contacted she refused to give any comments about this family matter. The said property is demolished and it was told that it would be built in three years. Thus the developers Sharyans Resources Limited and Gold Beam Constructions Private Limited are also issued notice.
