Hemant Birje is well known for Tarzan. Last night, there happened an incident in Andheri where it is reported that Hemant Birje was beaten up two of his friends and they were all caught drunk.
While talking about this incident Hemant Birje says that he was attacked with a bamboo stick hit on his head and the reason was that he wasn't present at the wedding ceremony of a relative of his friend. The other part of the story however as told by his friends Kishore Saproo and Phasi Rehman is that Birje was the one who began this fight by punching him and was asking for more alcohol.
After this incident, Hemant was taken to a hospital nearby where he received first aid treatment and was later discharged.
