There is a new method of direction adopted by Anurag Kashyap for his next movie and this method would involve a brief outline to be given to the actors of their movie about their characters rather than giving a complete script. The two leading actors for the movie are Ronit Roy and Tejaswini Kolhapure where Ronit is playing Bengali teetotaler while later plays his wife who is alcoholic. Furthermore both of these actors are unaware of working opposite each other. The first day of shoot was scheduled for October 21st and at that time they were quite confuse as none of them was given a script but were only asked to report for shooting.
Ronit says that he is unaware of the script and is only told that he plays a Bengali teetotaler. Rest details were given to him on the set only. Ronit didn't reveal many details about this movie titled Ugly while it is heard that all the characters of this movie are quite dark and unfinished.
