Arjun Rampal follows Hindu religion in real life but played the role of a police officer follower of Islam religion in his recent release Charkravyuh. To play this role effectively, he was coached by his Man-Friday Raja.
Raja is a Muslim and he taught Arjun the ritual of Namaaz for sequences in the movie. Arjun was trained by him as he wanted to perform his role in the right manner.
Arjun wanted him to appear as natural as possible in the role of a Muslim. At the same time he wanted to look Indian. Thus he uses to observe Raja quite carefully so that he could play this role of Muslim cop in the movie.
He also took particular interest to learn the ritual of Namaaz and watched Raja closely for around two weeks time while he performed his prayers. This was to make sure that he also enacts the sequence of performing Namaaz in the right manner.
Arjun is quite pleased and satisfied with the end result of this coaching and he is also praised by a number of Muslim fans through tweets.
