Problems faced for casting of Zanjeer remake!
Apoorva Lakhia's Zanjeer which is the remake of famous blockbuster hit of 1973 was reported to feature Telugu superstar Ramcharan Teja for the lead role. However there is a panic situation caused for casting of this movie when there is no actor to play one of the central roles in the movie. This talk is about the white stallion which is an important part of the script.

In the original movie, the white stallion of the same size proved problematic where it rears up on the screen with two legs and neighs. Apoorva thought even of removing this part as there are strict rules when it comes to dealing with animals in movies and thus it could become problematic by Animal Welfare Boart.

But as this is an important part of the script so it could not be removed and thus finding a perfect breed for it was a huge important task. This problem solved with the arrival of Ramcharan Teja for this movie as he owns one of the most famous stud farms and is a horse lover. He also owns 3-feet miniature horse (a rare kind) which moves around in his house freely.

The horse used in the remake of the movie is also taken from his stud farm and this farm is based on a land owned by Ramcharan's wife Upasana Kamineni. This news was confirmed by Ramcharan himself.
