During a recent interview, Lataji declared that there happened a war between her and Mohd Rafi sab where Rafi ji wrote an apology letter to her to clear this war up. Mohd. Rafi's son Shahid Rafi while talking to a press conference claimed that there was never such incident between Lataji and his father and he also asked Lataji to present that letter as a proof for everyone to see.
He said that his father was a nationally praised man and he has a number of fans internationally. He asked Lataji to prove his father's apology by presenting that letter and if she does so, he is all ready to apologize. He further declared that his father was praised by many and he feels that Lataji may be feeling insecure of his fan following to have said that.
He also gave a hint that this is only a publicity stunt by Lataji and nothing else.
