Ekta Kapoor seems to be trapped in controversies again and again. The latest news is that a complaint has been filed against her at the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court for nonpayment of dues of around Rs. 30,000. This complaint is launched by advocate Rizwan Siddique and the claim is that Balaji Motion Pictures have not paid professional charges for the services rendered to them for their movie Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai. This complaint was launched in the year 2010 but Ekta now needs to move to the Bombay High Court for this case.
Rizwan further claims that in spite of many follow-ups, the dues are still not recovered from them and thus there is no option left other than sending them a legal notice. A stay on the proceedings of this case is granted by court and further this case will be heard on October 31st.
