Amol Palekar has done some of the most meaningful movies and he is now to receive the famous Vishnudas Bhave award for his contribution to Marathi theatre. This award will be given to him on November 5th and the announcement of the same was made by Akhil Bharatiya Natya Vidya Mandir Samiti President Sharad Karale.
Amol Palekar began with experimental theatre of Satyadev Dubey and later he began his own company titled 'Aniket' in the year 1972. This award was initiated around 52 years back to honor Marathi Drama by Akhil Bharatiya Natya Vidya Mandir.
