Yash Raj Films (YRF) and IMAX Corporation together have announced action thriller movie titled Dhoom 3 which will be the first film in Bollywood to be released with digital re-mastering done in IMAX format. This movie will be released all across India as well as internationally by next year. There are currently 14 theatres of IMAX operating and under contract to be opened in India.
This movie is the third installment of Dhoom series and will feature
Aamir Khan,
Abhishek Bachchan,
Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra in lead roles. The movie is to be produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Uday Chopra. Dhoom is termed to be one of the most successful franchises on Bollywood box office. The movie tells adventurous story or a cop and his partner, Jai Dixit and Ali.

The Chairman and President, IMAX Filmed Entertainment, Greg Foster talking about this collaboration said that their network has now reached at a point in India where they can now produce and present local Hini movies and this is indeed a great success to be partnering with Yash Raj Films for this project. He further said that Dhoom3 according to them is the ideal movie to initiate their format with in Bollywood town.
Thus this movie Dhoom 3 will now be made with digital mastering of images and sound quality in the immersive IMAX format and thus it is surely going to be a full power pact movie for the audiences.
