Sanjay Dutt in the role of a cop and latest report about this movie is that Sanjay the 53 year old actor will be featured with Prachi Desai the 24 year old actress. Script of the movie is modified to make sure that this age difference doesn't appear weird.
This kind of age difference was last seen in movie Bewafaa where
Anil Kapoor was featured with
Kareena Kapoor however the age gap was reasonable and acceptable as Kareena was playing his second wife. However for this movie in question there are no such justifications. It is said that makers had only Prachi as a suitable choice with dates available for the movie and they now have to make some changes in the script to make the age difference acceptable.
Producer of the movie T.P. Aggarwal confirmed this news saying that they have made suitable changes in the script to justify the age different and both of them don't look mismatched in the movie despite of age difference.
Prachi when contacted about this she had no issues to be featured against Sanjay as according to her we have seen many movies in Bollywood where young actresses are paired with old actors. She further said that my co-stars for movies Rock On and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai,
Farhan Akhtar and
Emraan Hashmi respectively were also not of her age. So she is okay with this idea of being paired with older guy.
