It will be for the first time that Ekta Kapoor's The Dirty Picture will be aired on Sony TV on August 26th. It was reported that previously Information and Broadcasting Ministry declared this movie inappropriate to be shown on prime time on TV and its screening was installed at the last minute. However there were 59 cuts made in the movie to make it appropriate to telecast on TV.
Now it is reported from reliable sources that this movie will be aired on TV on August 26th twice, first at 12 pm and then at 8:30 pm. Head of Acquisition and Distribution- Balaji Motion Pictures, Girish Johar says that they are quite happy that now their National Award winner will be shown on TV screen all across to entertain audiences at home.
