Deepika Padukone to be praised with Smita Patil Memorial Award!

Deepika is on high floors since the success of her last release Cocktail. She will now be awarded with the most prestigious Smita Patil Memorial Award for her contribution to Bollywood film industry by the Priyadarshni Academy.
This award will be given to her at the 28th anniversary global awards on September 18th. At the same event industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla will be given Harish Mahindra Memorial Global Award for his contribution to the globalization of Indian industry.
These awards will be given by Ghulam Nabi Azad, the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dilip Walse-Patil Maharashtra Assembly Speaker and Anil Deshmukh state Food and Civil Supplies Minister.
